Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2026, the Smoky Mountain Amateur Radio Club will host its annual Field Day event. For the second consecutive year, operations will take place at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church’s Field of Dreams, located at 1614 Peppermint Road in Maryville, Tennessee. This location continues to serve SMARC exceptionally well, offering ample acreage for antenna setup along with elevated terrain that helps maximize antenna height and performance.

The Smoky Mountain Amateur Radio Club has a long and proud tradition of Field Day operations throughout Blount County. The public is invited to attend, meet local amateur radio operators, and learn more about amateur radio and emergency communications.

Field Day is a nationwide public event sponsored by the ARRL that showcases amateur radio in action while providing operators an opportunity to practice emergency communication skills under simulated adverse conditions. It remains one of the most anticipated and important events on the club’s annual calendar.
